THOUGHTS ON SUNSPOTS
Dear Friends:
According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), sunspot activity is nil, solar wind pressure is the lowest since measurements have been taken, the sun's brightness has diminished measurably in recent years and there is a 55-year low in solar radio emissions. "This is the quietest sun we've seen in almost a century," says sunspot expert David Hathaway of the Marshall Space Flight Center. [1]
The Pope is coming to Israel. According to Israel National News (Arutz Sheva) he will speak at an Arab village regarding Arab "right of return." In addition, Arutz Sheva has reported that the government of Israel is considering imminent transfer of property on Mount Zion to the Vatican.
What do the sun and the Pope have to do with each other?
In my book, WORLDSTORM, I discuss the calendar systems of the Moslem and the Western nations. The Western calendar is based on the sun and the Moslem calendar is based on the moon.
The West has dominated world culture since the days of Greece and Rome. One could say it has set the tone for the development of modern civilization. As such it can be compared to the sun.
The Moslem culture has stood in its shadow just as the moon is illuminated by the light of the sun. But now the Moslem world - as our prophets and rabbis long ago predicted would happen at the End of Days - has begun to chafe at its long history of subordination to the dominant Western culture.
At the beginning of my book, 2020 VISION, I quote the following Malbim: "In the End of Days, after the Children of Israel have returned to their land, the children of Ishmael [the Moslems] and the children of Esau [the Western Nations] will unite to attack Jerusalem. They will form a world coalition against the tiny nation of Israel. But something will go wrong with their plan. The religious beliefs of the children of Ishmael and the children of Esau will clash, and the two nations will collide and destroy each other. This is what is referred to as the War of Gog and Magog. Following this cataclysmic conflict, the Final Redemption of the Jewish People will occur with the coming of Messiah the Son of King David." [2]
Nations of the world, you must be very careful. You are standing on a piece of earth which is going to open up beneath you. The Master of the Universe is watching. You are stepping into a trap from which you cannot escape.
For the last two thousand years, you - the Western Nations and the Moslem Nations - have each attacked the Children of Israel separately. We have been tortured relentlessly by your hatred and your violence, your arrogance, your condescension, your repeated attempts at the "final solution."
But now we have come to the End of Days. The prophesy quoted above is coming to pass. As the Malbim stated in the name of the Prophet Ezekiel, the time has come when you have joined hands, the sun and moon, the Western Nations and the Moslem Nations, and you are dancing around Jerusalem.
You believe that your time has come!
Well, your time HAS come!
You are dancing to your destruction! "A tumultuous sound comes from the city, a sound from the sanctuary, the sound of G-d dealing retribution to His enemies." [3]
The sun is in decline because YOU, the Western nations, are in decline!
The sun will no longer shine upon YOU, the Moslem nations!
You, the children of Ishmael and the children of Esau, are both about to descend into eternal darkness. You are about to destroy each other. This is not what I or any person desires; it is the prophesy put into the mouth of Ezekiel and thus the will of the Eternal Ruler of the Universe, and it will come to pass.
And when you destroy each other, we - the Children of Israel - will still be here! Yes, we will be here forever, living our Holy Torah upon the renewed and shining earth in a world filled with the light of Moshiach, the light of the Bais Hamikdosh, the light of the Shechina, the perfect light that will cleanse this tortured planet from the millennia of filth heaped upon it by the enemies of G-d.
"When the wicked bloom like grass and all the doers of iniquity blossom - it is to destroy them till eternity. But You remain exalted forever, G-d. For behold! - Your enemies, G-d - for behold! - Your enemies shall perish!" [4]
The day is coming, my friends.
"Do not fear! Stand fast and see the salvation of G-d that He will perform for you today!" [5]
